Trevor Leonard is a songwriter, touring musician and recording engineer/producer from Philadelphia who creates a blend of folk, rock and reggae music. In February 2013, Leonard’s band, The End of America, was invited by Beck to perform at his "Song Reader" release show in LA. SPIN praised TEOA, saying they exhibit “soulful Low Anthem harmony and strum." In the years before starting The End of America, Leonard fronted the space-punk band, Procession Came Opposite, and the acoustic outfit, Triangle Shirt Factory. He became the touring bass player of Zolof The Rock and Roll Destroyer during the summer of 2005, sharing the stage with Reel Big Fish and Punchline. Later he went on to play the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Japan as touring guitarist of Valencia. After the band’s hiatus, Leonard and Valencia frontman, Shane Henderson, created The Future Perfect. They were direct support on Spitalfield’s “Remember Right Now – 10 Year Anniversary Tour” in June 2013. When Leonard is not on the road, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Bernini, watching Chopped with his wife, and challenging his family and friends to rock, paper, scissors battles.
