Hey there, folks! Welcome to my song shop! Hopefully, I, Jeff Berman, look familiar to you. I've been touring for over 15 years and been doing this singer-songwriter project, DIVIDED HEAVEN, since 2009. My rap sheet is varied and includes time with punkers PROTAGONIST, THE BOILS and hardcore dudes the RITES and VPR.

With Divided Heaven I have crisscrossed the North America, Europe and Japan on multiple tours, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour. Fun fact: Divided Heaven holds the distinction of being the only artist to play Pouzza Fest (in Montreal), Punk Rock Bowling (in Las Vegas) and the FEST (in Gainesville, FL) in the same year (2013). Not bad for a dude from Lancaster, PA. More importantly, I have released 3 albums, a few EPs and have some samples to hear on this page, so check 'em out!

I am a singer/songwriter/musician. How can I be on the site?
We'd love to have you on the platform! Head down to the "Become An Artist" link at the bottom of the site & get the process started.
Who owns the finished song?
The songwriter retains all songwriting credit. The delivered recording, however, is one-of-a-kind, made specifically for the requester, and will not be released. The content of the song may be used by the songwriter for future work.
How long before I receive my song?
The suggested turnaround time on a song is three weeks, starting the day after the request is received. However, artists' schedules & availability may vary, based on a handful of different circumstances. If there is a particular date or deadline, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Where the heck is my song? It's been over 3 weeks.
The song may have been inadvertently sent to your junk or spam folder. Please add @downwrite.com emails to your safe list to ensure this does not happen. If you have not received a note from Downwrite on hehalf of the artist within 3 weeks of your request, send us an email at info@downwrite.com and we will contact the artist for an update on your behalf.
