Jake has always had a fond appreciation for the craft that goes into writing Top 40 music. His roots were founded on the shoulders of The Monkees, Richard Marx, and the Backstreet Boys. Jake started taking piano lessons when he was 8 years old, but his true musical introduction to the world wouldn't occur until almost a decade later when he was 17, after he joined the group Sandlot Heroes. He penned the tracks "Out Of My Hands" and "Believer" which both went on to become the most #1 requested songs on his area's Top 40 station B104. This initial success is what led the group to finally be recognized, and played on stations across the country. For five years Jake has extensively toured the country and captivated audiences with his work. There's rarely a time when a melody isn't running through his head. Songwriters like Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World), Ryan Tedder (One Republic), and Max Martin (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears) taught him about the qualities that go in to good songwriting, and how important it is to not settle. These are gifts that he'll carry with him, and use in his songs for the rest of his life... Jake currently resides in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he continues to write for his group Sandlot Heroes, among co-writing with many other artists. He recently teamed up with American Idol Top 24 finalist Tyler Grady, and formed the group Three Moons. The group's first single, "Light", will be going into rotation on Top 40 radio this July.
