"Meet Me In The Shade" is the lead single from Chris Cresswell's debut solo album. Produced by Joey Cape of Lagwagon at his home studio in San Francisco, Chris' debut album 'One Week' was the 2nd release from Joey's label One Week Records - where the artist records a 10-song album in 7 days.
"Arrhyhthmic Palpitations" is a song so damn good that Chris wishes he wrote it himself. So what's the next best thing? Recording a cover of one of his favourite songs, originally written by his good friends in Dead To Me, and experiencing it in a whole new light. This cover is a celebration of Dead To Me's insatiable ability to write a damn catchy song that makes you think.
Born near Toronto, Canada in 1987, Chris has been playing music and writing songs since before he was legal to drive, drink, vote and travel alone. His band, The Flatliners, have been a staple in the modern punk rock scene since their inception in 2002, and show no signs of relenting.
Surprisingly enough, Chris somehow found the time in 2014 to travel to San Francisco and record his debut solo album with Joey Cape of Lagwagon in the producer's chair - which was released digitally on One Week Records in May 2014, and finally on vinyl via Fat Wreck Chords in October 2014.
Between his two ongoing musical endeavours, Chris spends most of his year out on the road in Canada, USA, Europe and the UK, sharing his songs and stories with a new crowd every night.
